Real Estate in Honduras
Foreigners should exercise extreme caution when buying property in Honduras, as there is no title insurance, with fraudulent deeds and titles being common place. Approximately 80% of the land in Honduras is untitled and there have been many complaints that the judicial system offers little relief and can take extremely long periods of time for redemption.
